Women & Infants Nursing Scholars Program
Secure employment at Women & Infants Hospital, launch your nursing career, and receive up to $45,000 in loan repayment funds!
Through a special partnership, GMercyU Nursing students can apply to the program to reduce the cost of your education while securing employment prior to graduation at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island.
The program provides participants up to $45,000 in student loan repayment in exchange for a 3-year work commitment at Women & Infants upon graduation, licensure, and beginning full-time employment as a registered nurse.
You can leave the program at any time. If you do so before completing your work commitment, you forfeit any further loan repayments made by the health system but are not required to reimburse any payments already made on your behalf.

Who Is Eligible
- Students in one of these GMercyU Nursing programs:
- Be in good academic standing with a competitive GPA
- Be a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident, or with residency under DACA or TPS programs
Selection isn’t guaranteed simply by meeting the criteria.
