Campus Transformation
Mercy in Motion

Gwynedd Mercy University's campus is undergoing major upgrades. From a multimillion-dollar healthcare innovation campus to renovated baseball and softball fields, it's an exciting time to be a Griffin.

Frances M. Maguire Healthcare Innovation Campus

Construction begins Spring 2023

Made possible by a transformational $10 million gift from the Maguire Foundation, this future state-of-the-art hub of healthcare innovation will address the healthcare needs of today and tomorrow, with the goal of improving access and equity for all. Here, technological advancements will converge with a compassionate healthcare mindset, and healthcare majors will collaborate with Social Work, Psychology, Computer Information Science and students in many other majors as they learn to advocate for the "whole" patient.

Renovated Loyola Hall

Construction began Fall 2022
Outdoor spaces may be completed in a subsequent phase.

GMercyU's original residence hall for first-year students is getting a whole new look! While preserving details that students love (such as Loyola's roomy wardrobes), the renovations include upgrades to residential living/learning rooms, common spaces, meeting spaces, outdoor spaces, utility and technology rooms, and bathrooms, plus the installation of super-fast Wifi. Let the binge-watching commence!

The project is made possible by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), a grant program for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.
