Admissions & Aid

Gwynedd Mercy University welcomes students of all beliefs and backgrounds to our 314-acre campus just outside of Philadelphia. Our dedicated faculty and close-knit community will propel you toward a meaningful career, and you’ll leave GMercyU as a Distinctive Mercy Graduate — ready to make a difference, for yourself and others.

A Few Things to Know About Us

We’re on a rolling admissions calendar. That means you once you apply, we’ll tell you if you are accepted in as little as two weeks. (Future nursing students may need to wait a bit longer.)

We’re currently test-optional! Applying for Fall 2021? You don’t have to submit SAT or ACT scores with your application. You can if you’d like to, but it is not required.

A GMercyU education is within reach, financially. We’re proud that 100% of first-time, full-time students received some form of financial aid (2019-2020).

Whether it be our colleagues or our professors, everyone is here to help each other. There has never been a moment where I held back on asking a question or telling a story or showing up at my professors’ offices, whether about school or personal advice or anything – they are there to help us. There’s never a day that we don’t feel that.” —Mackenzie Iocona ’20, Criminal Justice
