The United Health Services Gateway Scholars Program
Secure employment at United Health Services (UHS), launch your career in nursing or radiologic technology, and receive up to $50,000 in loan repayment funds!
Through a special partnership, GMercyU Nursing students and Radiologic Technology students can apply to United Health Services Gateway Scholars program.
The program provides up to $50,000 for registered nurses and up to $35,000 for radiologic technologists in student loan repayment in exchange for a 3-year work commitment at United Health Services upon graduation, licensure, and beginning full-time employment. United Health Services (UHS) is the most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in the Binghamton, NY area.
You can leave the program at any time. If you do so before completing your work commitment, you forfeit any further loan repayments made by the health system but are not required to reimburse any payments already made on your behalf.

Who Is Eligible
- Students in one of these GMercyU Nursing programs:
- Be in good academic standing with a competitive GPA
- Be a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident, or with residency under DACA or TPS programs
Selection isn’t guaranteed simply by meeting the criteria.
