Liturgy & Worship

Our vision of Campus Ministry calls us to celebrate the Catholic/Christian faith of our sponsors, the Sisters of Mercy, and to encourage others to live their faith more fully. Our desire is that people who engage our liturgy and worship experiences – especially over time – will seek an active and meaningful relationship with God, giving witness to Gospel values and the charism of Mercy.

To facilitate this relationship, we offer a variety of Catholic, ecumenical and interfaith prayer experiences throughout the year. Visit the University's News & Events page to find upcoming opportunities, and stay connected with your own denomination via the list of local houses of worship below.


Sundays:  Need a Ride?

Our local parish is St. Rose of Lima Church, less than 2.5 miles out Sumneytown Pike in North Wales.  Mass is offered on Saturdays at 5 p.m. and on Sundays at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.  The Campus Ministry Van takes students to the 11:30 Mass (beginning 1/22/17); if you would like a ride please contact Julianna Green by Saturday night.

Mondays:  Daily Mass

We are pleased to be able to offer Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Chapel (Campbell Hall) on Mondays when school is in session.  

Special Celebrations

Following are some of the special celebrations for the Fall semester 2019:

  • Move-In Weekend Mass:  Sunday, August 25, 4:00 p.m. in Chapel (Campbell Hall), followed by refreshments in the McAuley Breezeway
  • Mercy Day Mass:  Tuesday, September 24, 11:30 a.m. in the Waldron Griffinaerie
  • Reunion Weekend Mass: Sunday, October 20, 11:30 a.m. in Chapel (Campbell Hall)
  • All Saints Day (Holy Day) Mass:  Friday, November 1, 11:30 a.m. in Chapel
  • All Souls Mass of Remembrance: Sunday, November 3 at 11:30 a.m., Waldron Griffinaerie.  
  • Interfaith Thanksgiving Service: Monday, November 25 at 11:30 a.m., Julia Ball Auditorium.
