Job Search Series:

Resume/Job Search Presentation: Wednesday, March 11, 3 p.m. (Common Hour), Keiss Library and Learning Commons - Side Room 
•    Join us for an interactive presentation on the basics of resume writing and core strategies for a successful job/internship search.

LinkedIn Workshop: Wednesday, April 15, 3 p.m. (Common Hour), Fatima Hall Computer Lab 
•    Students will have the opportunity to learn quick tips on starting a profile and maximizing the networking potential of this great virtual resource. You will leave this workshop with a your profile started!

Interviewing Panel: Thursday, April 9, 6 p.m., University Hall E107 - Tiered Class. 
•    Gwynedd Mercy University Alumni will give advice on the interview process through a lively panel discussion and Q&A time. Come to hear valuable information on how to ace your interview.

On-Campus Recruitment: Windsor Financial Group, an affiliate of MassMutual
Position: Financial Advisor - Horsham, Pa.
Windsor Financial Group has had a presence in the Philadelphia area for more than 50 years. They are seeking Financial Advisor who will work directly with individuals, businesspeople and families to help them navigate through and secure their financial future.

Students should submit their resume and cover letter to Career Development at careerservices@gmercyu.edu and we will submit the application materials to the employer for interview selection (interviews held Thursday, March 19). 
Resume Submission Deadline: Wednesday, March 4. 

Greater Philadelphia Teacher Job Fair
When: Wednesday, March 18, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, in Oaks, Pa.
What: Employers in the education industry will discuss potential job openings.
Registration: Students must register with Career Development by March 5, includes filling out a registration form and submitting $5 cash. Career Development is located in the Keiss Library and Learning Commons.

When: Wednesday, March 25, from 12-3 p.m. at Eastern University. 
What: Employers will discuss potential job and internship openings.
Where: Main Gymnasium on the St. Davids Campus

When: Thursday, March 26, at  Villanova University’s Jake Nevin Field House from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
What: Employers will discuss potential job and internship openings.

STEM Panel
When: Friday, April 24 from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Where: Chestnut Hill College
What: Alumni and employers in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) will discuss career information and tips. This program is an event sponsored by SEPCHE, which is a consortium of eight schools including Gwynedd Mercy University.
