GMercyU Hosts the 2025 Bucks-Mont Collaborative Community Summit

On May 21, GMercyU hosted the 2025 Bucks-Mont Collaborative Community Summit, titled Impact and Innovation: A Day for Community Rockstars. The event was designed for leaders, advocates, and visionaries with a deep commitment for creating meaningful change within the community. The summit featured keynote speakers, workshops, and discussions focused on leading and creating change in today’s changing landscape.

Keynote panel speakers for the event included:

  • Dr. Valerie A. Arkoosh, Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Human Services
  • Marissa Christie, President & CEO, United Way of Bucks County
  • Emma Hertz, President & CEO, Healthspark Foundation
  • Aaron Proietti, Founder, Today’s Innovator

Bucks-Mont CollabThe summit was organized by The Bucks-Mont Collaborative and its Executive Director Kristyn DiDomnick, MSW, who is an adjunct professor for GMercyU’s Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program. GMercyU BSW program served as the summit’s continuing education unit (CEU) sponsor; it also provides CEUs for many of the trainings focused on clinical, advocacy, and non-profit leadership that the Bucks-Mont Collaborative offers to licensed social workers, marriage therapists, and professional counselors.

GMercyU has served as the host site for the Bucks-Mont Collaborative Community Summit since 2019. More than 130 Bucks and Montgomery County non-profit leaders were in attendance.
