Dr. Tiffany J. Cresswell-Yeager is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education Leadership at Gwynedd Mercy University. She teaches in the doctoral program in educational leadership. Previously, she was an assistant professor of communication studies at Kutztown University. She taught courses in public speaking, small group communication, multicultural and leadership communication.
With a background in higher education administration, her career experience includes leading enrollment management, social media, student affairs, health and counseling, intercollegiate athletics, student conduct, crisis management and threat assessment. Her research interests include first-generation college students, leadership development, enrollment management and the first-year experience.
Tiffany earned her PhD in administration and leadership studies, an inter-disciplinary degree in sociology, political science, and economics from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and she is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in training and development.
In addition to her professional experience, Tiffany has been coaching track and field, working specifically with the junior high program at Blue Mountain High School since 2002. She is a member of the Walk In Arts Center Board of Directors and Schuylkill County’s VISION Board. She enjoys CrossFit, weightlifting, yoga and cycling to stay healthy.
