Dr. Jaimie Bowen is the Program Director and an Assistant Professor for the Master Teacher and Special Education Programs at Gwynedd Mercy University. After studying Business Administration at Saint Joseph’s University, she continued her education at Neumann University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and her Doctorate, which focused on the educational resilience of at-risk inner city college students.
Jaimie spent 15 years as a classroom teacher and administrator before joining GMercyU’s graduate program in 2019. Her professional background provides her with a unique and real-istic perspective on current issues, obstacles, and victories that teachers experience daily, in their own classrooms. Jaimie enjoys helping prepare future teachers to be confident and effective professionals in the field.
