David Schultz, FSC, PhD

Brother David Schultz, FSC, PhD, joined the GMercyU faculty in 2006 as an assistant professor of religious studies for the School of Arts & Sciences. He is a member of the religious order of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. He teaches Healthcare Ethics, Social Justice and World Religions. Brother David earned his bachelor’s degree in theology from Christian Brothers College.

Prior to teaching at GMercyU, he taught at the Christian Brothers Military Institute, Bishop Kelley High School, Lewis University and La Salle University. Brother David has also been an instructor for the Deaconate Training Program for the Diocese of Camden since 2002 and serves on the Medical Ethics Review Board for Einstein Hospital. His interests include personal morality, bioethics and social justice.
