Amanda Kettinger, MS, is an Instructor for Gwynedd Mercy University's Psychology program and is passionate about helping students connect course material to meaningful, real-world experiences. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Human Resources, from Cabrini University, and her Master of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She is a member of the Psi Chi and Delta Epsilon Sigma honor societies.
Amanda began teaching at GMercyU in 2009 and teaches in both in-person and online formats. She incorporates new topics, engaging activities, and relevant resources into her courses each semester to enhance the learning experience. Helping students understand how course concepts apply beyond the classroom is central to her approach. Having taught and developed a variety of courses at multiple universities, Amanda brings a broad and well-rounded academic perspective to the classroom.
Outside of teaching, Amanda volunteers with her local Alzheimer's Association chapter, where she supports community members and caregivers as a Community Educator and Awareness Champion. She served as a Support Group Facilitator for more than 17 years.
Amanda is dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment and helping students succeed both academically and personally.
