Campus Ministry News + Events
Widen the Circle of Mercy!
Did you know we offer SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES just about every day of the week? Check out our community service page for more info!
Every Monday: FiSH (Faith in Student Housing) 9 p.m. in the Glass Lounge
FiSH is a student-led program of Campus Ministry designed for students who live on-campus (and the commuters who hang out with them). It's a chance to talk about stuff that matters with people who care, designed to help you make new friends while growing in faith and talking about a wide variety of issues. Newcomers are always welcome, so check us out on Monday nights from 9-10 p.m. in the Glass Lounge of St. Brigid Hall.
Every Wednesday: Interfaith Prayer in Chapel at 11:30 a.m.
Are you intrigued by the idea of praying in different ways, using a variety of spiritual resources, led by faculty and staff from a variety of religious traditions? Would you love to pause in the middle of your week to pray with other members of our community? Then consider coming to Chapel (Campbell Hall) on Wednesdays from 11:30 - noon for Campus Ministry's new Interfaith Prayer. All are welcome!! (Note, there will be no Interfaith Prayer on 3/19 because of the memorial Mass for Peter Carlino at 11 a.m. in the Waldron Board Room.)
March 5: ASH WEDNESDAY
Although the University is on Spring Break, S. Kati McMahon will offer a prayer service with distribution of ashes. All are welcome!
Wednesday, March 12: Speaking of Race: Continuing the Conversation, 7:30 p.m.
Sigma Phi Sigma welcomes Claire C. Maier, civil rights activist and former Deputy Director of the Community Relations Division of the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations, who marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She will help us continue the conversation we began on campus last fall about race and racism today.
Thursday, March 13: Molly Maguire's Coupon Day for the Dublin Pilgrimage, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Help send a student on the Dublin Pilgrimage in August! Just print your coupon Molly Maguire's Coupon March.pdf and bring it to Molly Maguire's on March 13 and 15% of your (non-alcohol, pre-tax) bill will be donated to Gwynedd Mercy!

This great annual fundraiser supports our service break trips. Doors open at 6; play begins at 7, and you can play all night for just $5 (students 2/$5)! We'll also have a giant basket raffle and food for sale. (Raffle basket donations and baked goods still welcome!)

Saturday, April 5: One Grand Party at Molly Maguire's in Lansdale to support the Dublin Pilgrimage for Young Mercy Leaders!
It's this simple: the more money we raise, the more students we can send! Tickets are $25 ($20 for students with ID) includes food buffet and one beverage. There will be a DJ, games and prized, cash bar, great raffles, and an all around fun time. Don't miss it!
Monday, April 14: Take Back the Night, 8:30 p.m.
