Gwynedd Mercy University’s Bachelor of Science in Marketing degree program is designed to teach students how to apply the most innovative administrative and marketing philosophies, use relevant technologies, and make decisions from a manager’s perspective. Over the course of their education, marketing students sharpen their skills in communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership. To make the transition from the classroom to the workplace, students are also required to secure relevant internships during the final year of the marketing bachelor’s degree program. In the past, many of these internships have turned into full-time positions upon graduation from the program.

The sequence of coursework required to complete a marketing bachelor’s degree at any of Gwynedd Mercy University’s four Pennsylvania campuses includes:
- 48 credits of general education core courses
- 15 credits of prerequisites
- 30 credits of management core courses
- 18 credits of marketing core courses
- 14 credits of internship hours or elective courses
Internship opportunities are often the most valuable aspect of a marketing degree or any other academic program, because of the real-world experience and professional contacts that they provide. Upon completion of this sequence of courses and internship credits, graduates are prepared to enter the business and political leadership positions of tomorrow.
