Bachelor of Science in Marketing
One out of every five presidents or chief executive officers in the nation's top 500 businesses was, as an undergraduate, a marketing major. Through the Marketing Degree Program students learn how to apply innovative administrative and marketing philosophies, use relevant technologies, and make decisions from a manager’s perspective. Over the course of their education, students sharpen their skills in communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership. Due to the program’s wide-ranging curriculum, students are qualified for positions in a range of fields, including public relations, e-commerce, marketing analysis, professional selling, advertising, consumer behavior, supply chain management, marketing research and a host of other customer service/leadership positions. To make the transition from the classroom to the workplace, during the final year of the Marketing Program, students secure internships, many of which turn into full-time positions upon graduation.
