Billing and Payment Information

GMercyU offers two payment options:

  • Payment in full prior to the first day of classes each semester.
  • Four Month Payment Plan through Cashnet. The plan allows you to pay for the semester charges on a monthly basis as listed below.

The Payment plan amount is determined by the following:

  • Balance of Tuition and Fees
  • Less Anticipated Financial Aid. 
  • As new charges are applied to the account or additional aid is received, they are spread out over the remaining plan payments.
  • A $25.00 late fee will be assessed monthly for any missed payments.
  • If a second payment is missed, the payment plan will be canceled and you will be assessed a $50.00 late charge from the University.

Invoice Information

The initial invoice for each semester will be mailed to a student’s home address and will also be available on-line via Self-Service in the middle of July. Future invoices will only be available on-line. Students have access to all invoices via self-service. Invoices are updated on 7/28, 8/11 & 8/25 with Anticipated Aid and 9/22 with Actual Aid. Please note that parents will only have access to balances if granted by the student. Accounts not paid in full prior to the start of the semester or enrolled into an active payment plan will be considered delinquent and will be assessed a $50.00 late fee.

Fall 2014 invoices are due on 8/24/2014.

Accessing CashNet through Self-Service

Students

Students may access their billing information online directly from their Self-Service account. Clicking on Finances/Make a Payment or add an authorized user.

Parent/Third Party Access

STUDENT MUST GRANT ACCESS - you can do this once you have entered from your self-service under Finances.

  • Click on the “Third party PINs- add new” link on your “My Account”

  • Complete the required information and an e-mail will automatically be sent to the third party with the appropriate PIN and password.

  • Parents/Third parties will access the site directly at https://commerce.cashnet.com/gmcpay?LT=P

*This will only give the third party access to balances and payment plans- they will not be able to access grades, registration or transcripts.*
