Student Life

GMercyU is the perfect size — large enough to offer all the opportunities you want, but small enough that your faculty and classmates will know you by name. Our kind, warm, and diverse community will make you feel right at home. And with so many ways to get involved, you can do what you love and explore new interests!

A Few Things to Know About Us

We offer 17 NCAA Division III athletic teams, which means competitive play for student-athletes and extra fun for the students who cheer them on.
Our intramural and recreation sports program is a great way to get exercise and make friends. (The program is so popular it keeps growing!)
Our clubs and organizations include the Dance Team, Pride Alliance, Black Student Union, Finance Club, Student Government Association, Griffin Student Leadership Institute, and many more.

We love our location – and you will, too. It’s peaceful and beautiful yet minutes from shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and a train station that gets you to downtown Philly in just 30 minutes!
Service is a big part of who we are. At GMercyU, there are so many ways to give back alongside your fellow Griffins who care as much as you.
The Voices of Gwynedd — our incredible 100-person, world-famous choir— has performed all around the world and with Grammy-award winners.

From what I’ve experienced and seen, GMercyU takes each student and makes them more than just a number. Students are able to take their passions and curiosities and turn them into something incredible, whether it’s in class or in the community.
