Gwynedd Mercy University offers general purpose and specialized computer facilities for use by individual students and scheduled classes. These labs are managed by Institutional Technology Services who can help you use the various software and hardware. All labs have Internet access so you can conduct research, download information, and save your work to your OneDrive.
Our computer labs are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Departmental labs are controlled by the individual departments and can be reserved by instructors; these labs will be unavailable during those reserved times.
Main Campus Computer Labs
St. Bernard's Hall Computer Lab (St. Bernard Hall, Room 16)
This lab features 20 workstations running Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Office. This lab also features a smart TV for faculty/student coordination and a Xerox printer/scanner.
Natural Science & Mathematics Computer Lab (Frances M. Maguire Hall, Room 203)
The Natural Science & Mathematics lab features twenty workstations running the Windows 10 operating system. These workstations support Microsoft Office; this lab is also equipped with a Xerox network printer.
University Hall Lab (University Hall, Room W108)
Room W108 features 20 workstations running Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Office. This room is also equipped with a remote controlled projection system, Smart Board technology, wireless microphones, Lecture Capture technology and a Xerox network printer/scanner. The IT Help Desk (Room W104) conveniently neighbors this room.
Finance Trading Lab (University Hall, Room E204)
The Finance Trading lab, features 16 desktops with dual monitor display units running a Windows 10 operating system. These desktops computers support Microsoft Office. This computer lab also features a 42-feet stock ticker, two digital signage displays for real-time information about financial markets, a projection system, and a Xerox network printer.
Reference Area (Keiss Library, 1st Floor)
The Reference Area of Keiss Library features 10 desktops running Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Office, and a Xerox printer.
