Friday, September 27

Food Truck FestivalParking Lot D/C and Genuardi Pavilion
8 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Swing by and enjoy the evening at GMercyU. Enjoy music, sample food from local food trucks and have some fun with friends. Tickets available for food purchase on site. Free for current students with student ID. $10 for faculty, staff, alumni, and guests. Children under 5 are free. Admission permits you three tickets - two savory and one sweet. Children under five will receive one food ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased for $3 each. 

Trucks include: Dos Gringos (Tacos), Zoe's Kitchen (Mediterranean), Parkhurst Dining (Donut Dessert), Maggie Moo's (Ice Cream), Grilly Cheese (Gourment Grilled Cheese), Grubaholics (Jamaican), and Lil Trent's (American).

Come see what we've been up to! Resident Assistant alumni and former Res Life staff are invited to socialize with current students and staff. Fall Festival Genuardi Pavilion & Griffin Complex Parking Lot (Rain location: Rotelle Lounge)
1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Check out this year’s Fall Festival as you participate in activities with students, alumni, faculty, friends, and neighbors. This year, the festival boasts a number of new activities. Dinner will be available for purchase for $5 per guest. No pets allowed. Sponsored by Student Government Association.

School of Graduate and Professional Studies Meet and GreetGenuardi Pavilion (Rain location: Late Night Lounge)
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Campus Ministry Community Service OpportunityGenuardi Pavilion Lawn (Rain location: Rotelle Lounge)
2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

In honor of GMercyU’s Mission, Campus Ministry will sponsor Pop-Up Service activities for all ages. Projects will include Thanksgiving cards for local elderly in need, Christmas ornaments for troops abroad, and more. Drop by the table and brighten someone’s day!

Alumni vs. Student Flag Football TournamentPavilion Lawn
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Sign up to participate in GMercyU's third annual Alumni vs. Student Flag Football tournament. Grab your friends and come out to play or cheer, as we find out who has more guts and gets the glory... alumni or students. The winning group wins the revered trophy and bragging rights until next year. Players may sign up the day of the event, but pre-register by September 20 to guarantee your flag football t-shirt! Self Defense Session - Racquet Ball Court in Griffin Complex
3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  

Are you interested in learning some self-defense basics? Join the Director of Public Safety, Joanna Gallagher and Lt. Krolikowski, for a crash course on effective and life-saving, self-defense techniques and maneuvers. Pre-register in advance of Homecoming to guarantee your space. A registration table at Fall Festival will also be available, but may have limited availability for the event. Pre-Register for this event with Joanna Gallagher at gallagher.j@gmercyu.edu.

Alumni Reception and Beer GardenAssumption Hall and Patio
3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Celebrate Homecoming with fellow alumni, faculty and friends over food, drinks and music at the GMercyU alumni reception. This year, due to popular demand, we’re bringing back the beer garden and spotlighting local brewery, Brothers Kershner Brewing Company, out of Skippack, PA. Music provided by alumnus, Brendon Parris ‘00, aka DJ Raw Skillz.

Come hang out with your friends and make new ones as we celebrate Homecoming 2019. At the reception, and throughout the day, we are honoring alumni who are who are former Maguire Scholars, Student Activities Committee members and Resident Assistants. We’re looking forward to welcoming YOU back to campus!

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Not ready to end your stay on campus? Visit the P&SSA’s Painting Away Stress event and create your own mantel-worthy art. Even if you’re not a Da Vinci, you’ll still have fun as this event is led by retired Criminal Justice faculty member, Prof. Walt Z. Good times are sure to be had!
