GMercyU Athletics Honors 139 Griffins on Spring 2026 Academic Elite

"We had 139 student-athletes earn a 3.5 GPA (grade point average) or higher this spring," said Gwynedd Mercy University Director of Athletics Keith Mondillo. "Our semester GPA was a 3.33 and we had 32 student-athletes earn a GPA of 4.0 or higher.” In parting, Mondillo added "I would also like to thank all our coaches, staff, and advisors for all the work they do to keep our student-athletes on task. Their role in this does not go unnoticed!"
Established in the fall of 2021, the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Academic Elite honors student-athletes who earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher during a season of official participation. For the spring of 2026, a total of 139 Griffins reported a GPA of 3.5 or higher with 32 earning a GPA of 4.0 or higher.
With 21 members earning recognition, the baseball team placed the most student-athletes on the Spring 2026 Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics Elite. For the women's teams, the soccer team placed 18 student-athletes on this semester's Academic Elite roster. Overall, 15 of the Griffins’ 16 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Championship-qualifying rosters achieved a GPA of 3.0 or better for the spring of 2026.
