GMercyU Honors Class of 2026

Gwynedd Mercy University honored more than 500 new graduates over the weekend during the Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement ceremonies at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa.
Commencement weekend kicked off on Friday, May 15 with GMercyU’s annual Baccalaureate Mass and Honors Convocation, with many celebratory student events taking place all week.
Graduate student speaker Veralyn Esnard Gabriel, Doctor of Education graduate, concluded her speech with an uplifting reminder.
Class of 2026, let us go forward ready not only to succeed, but to serve. Not only to lead, but to uplift. Not only to make a living, but to make a difference.
Toni Robinson, B.S. in Early Education and Special Education, served as the Undergraduate student speaker and celebrated what it means to be a proud alum of GMercyU:
To me, being a Distinctive Mercy Graduate means understanding that success is not only about what we achieve, but about who we become along the way. It means realizing that education is not just about grades, degrees, or future careers — it is about compassion, resilience, and the responsibility we now carry to make a difference in the lives of others, especially the people who need someone to believe in them the way others believed in us.
GMercyU’s Class of 2026 reflected on their educational journeys alongside friends, family, faculty, and staff as they celebrated their accomplishments and looked ahead to the future. Filled with laughter, smiles, and heartfelt tears, the graduates shared their farewells and embraced their new chapter as Distinctive Mercy Graduates.
