A total of 19 Griffins were honored at the close of the 2025-2026 scholastic year with induction to Chi Alpha Sigma; the National College Athlete Honor Society.
"We are so proud of these 19 individuals. These student-athletes have put countless hours of work into both their studies and their athletic passions, and it has paid off. Not only is this an honor for our Griffins, but it is a direct reflection of our coaches, professors, and advisors; their dedication to our student-athlete deserves appreciation as well,” expressed Gwynedd Mercy University Director of Athletics Keith Mondillo.
In closing he added, “This is a prestigious honor for our student-athletes. I would like to congratulate these Griffins on their achievement and officially welcome them to Chi Alpha Sigma!"
Chi Alpha Sigma is a nonprofit organization that was established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. The organization was founded in 1996 by then DePauw University head football coach Nick Mourouzis. His goal was to provide outstanding student-athletes with an opportunity to become connected within a fraternal association that aligns their educational and athletic successes for a lifetime.
For induction to Chi Alpha Sigma, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher while receiving their varsity letter. The complete list of this year’s inductees is provided below.
