Sigma Phi Sigma Inducts New Members

Sigma Phi Sigma Induction CeremonyOn Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, Sigma Phi Sigma, the National Mercy Honor Society welcomed nine new student inductees and two honorary members from the faculty and staff who have demonstrated a commitment to the values and ideals of the society. 

The Gwynedd Mercy University Chapter of the National Mercy Honor Society was established in 1955 to recognize students distinguished for their scholarship, fidelity, and service to the University.

About Sigma Phi Sigma
The honor society provides its members with opportunities to continue their pursuit of an intellectual life to benefit their colleagues, the University, and the civic community. Students inducted into the honor society have demonstrated scholarship by achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, have demonstrated fidelity through evidence of upholding the mission and values of the University, including integrity in word and deed, respect for the dignity of each person, service to society, and social justice, and have demonstrated a clear commitment to service to both the University and the larger community.
