GMercyU Named Top 10% Best Value College in Pennsylvania

Gwynedd Mercy University was ranked a Top 10% Best Value College in Pennsylvania and the ninth Best Value College in the Philadelphia area, according to Niche.

Niche's methodology for colleges that are the best value for your money is based on net price, alumni earnings, graduation rates, and student debt using data from the U.S. Department of Education and millions of reviews. The ranking compares the most affordable colleges for the best return on investment. This year's rankings have introduced an Economic Mobility Index, which measures the economic status change for low-income students.

GMercyU's commitment to providing equitable access to education is rooted in our founding. That's why 100% of first-time, full-time students receive some form of financial aid, including scholarships and grants. GMercyU also awarded more than $46 million in financial aid in 2023-2024.

The Mercy in Motion campaign has also embraced this responsibility, identifying scholarship support as a key priority of fundraising efforts. In fact, 43 new scholarships have been established since the campaign's start in January 2022 with more than $4 million raised to support new and existing scholarships.
