New Members Inducted into Occupational Therapy Honor Society

New members of Occupational Therapy Honor SocietyGwynedd Mercy University's Occupational Therapy program welcomed six new inductees into the University's chapter of Pi Theta Epsilon Honor Society on Thursday, June 26.

Inductees Madison Brown, Giavanna Felker, Shannon Meenan, Gabriela Mills, Kennedy Niness, and Katelyn Swierczek celebrated their accomplishment with family, friends, OT faculty, and Pi Theta Epsilon Class of 2025 student officers.

Chris Wallace, MS, OTR/L, CHT and 2021 alumnus served as the keynote speaker. Chris's speech highlighted how the values and skills he gained through his role as Vice President of Pi Theta Epsilon contributed to his success as a Certified Hand Therapist and Center Manager at NovaCare Far Northeast.

Pi Theta Epsilon is a specialized honor society for occupational therapy students and alumni. Its mission is to promote research and scholarship among occupational therapy students. PTE recognizes and encourages superior scholarship among students enrolled in accredited educational programs across the United States.
