GMercyU Celebrates Class of 2025
Gwynedd Mercy University celebrated the Class of 2025 over the weekend during the Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement ceremonies at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks. Commencement weekend kicked off on Friday, May 16 with GMercyU’s annual Baccalaureate Mass and Honors Convocation.
Graduate student speaker Sean McDonnell, MSOT shared the following with his fellow graduates:
“Purpose looks different for each of us, as it should. But I truly believe that we were all drawn to GMercyU because we share a unique belief: if you have the ability to help someone, you have the responsibility to help them.”
Katherine Mirarchi, B.S. in Biology graduate, served as the Undergraduate student speaker, sharing the following words with her fellow classmates:
“Here at Gwynedd Mercy University, we’ve been given more than an education. We’ve been given perspective. We’ve been given a lens through which to see the world not just as it is, but as it could be. We’ve learned that knowledge without compassion is empty – and that service without love misses the point.”
GMercyU’s Class of 2025 reflected on their educational journal with the company of friends, family, faculty and staff as they looked toward the future that awaits them. The Class of 2025 shared many laughs, smiles, and tears and they said their farewells and embraced their new status as Distinctive Mercy Gradates.
