Digital Communications Graduate Natasha Halovanic Named President’s Scholar

President's ScholarDigital Communications student Natasha Halovanic will be named as the 2024 President’s Scholar during Honors Convocation on Friday, May 17.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Digital Communications in 2023, Natasha Halovanic is the first Digital Communications student to graduate from the 4+1 MBA program.

Natasha served as the Vice President and later the President of Pride Alliance at GMercyU and has made the Dean’s List every semester. She was part of the initial cohort that helped to launch the DigComCrew site and produced two ‘Ask the President’ pieces.

During her senior year, Natasha narrated the University’s virtual campus tour and starred in GMercyU’s episode of Amazon Prime’s The College Tour that debuted in November 2023. She completed an internship with the North Wales Area Library where she created videos, graphics, and other marketing materials. She also ran the library’s YouTube channel and helped it to secure a $1,000 grant for a cooking club video she created.

After graduating in November 2024 with her MBA, Natasha plans to work up the ladder at Starbucks Corporation from her current ground-level management position into a corporate marketing management role.
