A Message from the President
As we close the historic Mercy in Motion Comprehensive Campaign for Gwynedd Mercy University, I am more inspired, optimistic, and resolved than ever.
The future of higher education is at a defining moment, with a rapidly changing world challenging us to respond in new and innovative ways. I believe that a bold vision for our University, shaped by our Mercy values, has never mattered more. It turns out that our community agrees, as illustrated by the historic donor support of this campaign. You, too, believe that our campaign goals of fueling healthcare innovation, investing in student success, and sustaining our Mercy mission have the power to inspire positive change in the world.
Thanks to your generosity, GMercyU is stronger than ever. A new state-of-the-market academic building serves as a hub of healthcare innovation on campus. Other renovations throughout campus enhance the student experience and make our Griffins feel even more at home. Dozens of new scholarships are changing the trajectory of students’ lives, opening the door to opportunity and extending the legacy of the Sisters of Mercy. Investments in Mercy-centered experiences ensure that our students and alumni will continue to make a difference in the world through a lens that is ethical, moral, and compassionate.
I want to express my sincere and deep appreciation to everyone who participated in the campaign. We did this together. From the transformational gifts to the smaller donations and the largest number ever of first-time donors – every action has contributed to the success of the campaign and our ability to continue to deliver on our Mercy mission.
Together, we are building a future where our students thrive, our values endure, and our work continues to inspire lives of purpose and service. We’ll continue to build on this unstoppable momentum to strengthen our position as a Catholic university leader in professional and healthcare education – and we welcome your continued support.
Come to campus to see the impact of our collective efforts and connect with a warm community that shares your commitment to keeping Mercy in Motion.
With profound gratitude,
