To transfer credit from a two- or four-year school to Gwynedd Mercy University, you will need to provide your transcript(s) and speak with a specially-trained transfer admissions counselor. Your coursework at prior colleges and universities is then evaluated and transfer credit is granted for courses that are equivalent to Gwynedd Mercy University courses and fulfill curriculum requirements. Once you have been admitted to the University and your transcript(s) have been submitted, you can expect an official transfer credit evaluation within about two weeks.
Gwynedd Mercy University grants college transfer credit for work completed at other colleges and universities if the course content is comparable to what is offered at GMercyU. GMercyU has Dual Admission Transfer Agreements with Bucks County Community College, Delaware County Community College, and Montgomery County Community College. Bucks County Community College students will be guaranteed admission into select GMercyU Bachelor's degree programs with third year (junior) status as long as they graduate from BCCC with an appropriate Associate degree and a minimum GPA and 2.0 (higher for some majors*). BCCC graduates should be able to complete a bachelor's degree in four regular semesters once enrolling at GMercyU.

Montgomery County Community College students will be guaranteed admission into select GMercyU Bachelor's degree programs with third year (junior) status as long as they graduate from MCCC with an appropriate Associate degree and a minimum GPA and 2.0 (higher for some majors*). MCCC graduates should be able to complete a bachelor's degree in four regular semesters once enrolling at GMercyU.

GMercyU also has Core-to-Core Transfer Agreements with the following community colleges. In addition to Dual Admissions and Core-to-Core Transfer Agreements with BCCC and MCCC, GMercyU has articulation agreements with several colleges, as listed below. Please contact your admissions counselor or the Gwynedd Mercy University Registrar's Office to discuss your qualifying transfer credits.
Montgomery County Community College Tourism and Hospitality Management Articulation Agreement
Gwynedd Mercy University will offer priority admission to its B.S. in Management degree program for Montgomery County Community College students who earn their A.A.S. in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Incoming students must have earned a minimum GPA of 2.0; they will enter GMercyU with Junior status and be on track to graduate with the bachelor's degree within four semesters. Accepted students must complete a minimum of 45 semester credit hours and 50% of GMercyU's Management major courses at GMercyU.
Montgomery County Community College students must meet with a GMercyU Business program advisor to discuss their academic program and ensure they will be on track to earn their bachelor's degree in just four additional semesters.
