Having joined the faculty of Gwynedd Mercy University's graduate nursing programs in 2022, Dr. McGowan is an Assistant Professor and the NP/DNP Program Director at Gwynedd Mercy University. She has worked in a variety of outpatient pediatric care settings.
Dr. McGowan proudly received her ASN, BSN, and MSN at Gwynedd Mercy University; and completed her doctorate at Georgetown University. She is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner and currently is on staff at Abington-Jefferson Health.
Dr. McGowan is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society for Nurses, and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
