Lisa McGarry, PhD has been dean of the School of Arts and Sciences since 2011. She previously served as an associate professor, chairwoman of the LLFA Division and director of the Academic Resource Center (now called "Student Success Center").
Her publications include “Orts, Scraps and Fragments: The Elusive Search for Meaning in Virginia Woolf’s Fiction,” which was published in May 2007.
Dr. McGarry received the Christrian R. and Mary F. Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Temple University, a master’s degree in Modern British and American Literature from Villanova University, and a PhD in English from Lehigh University.
