Jane Stuart, MA, CCC-SLP

Jane Stuart is the Director of Clinical Education and Professor of Practice in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology Program at Gwynedd Mercy University. Jane has over 30 years of clinical experience as a certified speech-language pathologist. Her areas of expertise include pediatric feeding and swallowing, speech and language development, and autism spectrum disorders. She earned a BS in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and MA in Speech Pathology from SUNY Geneseo.

Prior to coming to Gwynedd Mercy University, Jane practiced as a speech-language pathologist in diverse clinical settings, serving individuals across the lifespan. For 22 years, Jane was the owner and director of a pediatric speech-language pathology private practice in Long Beach, California where she focused on intensive intervention with children and their families, as well as the mentoring and training of clinical staff. Her work extended beyond her office, into schools, homes, preschools, outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers, skilled nursing facilities, and virtual platforms.
