Felicia Duch, MOT, OTR/L serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program within the Frances M. Maguire College of Nursing and Health Professions. Felicia has been a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR®) for more than six years.
Felicia started her career in outpatient pediatrics, supporting children with sensory-based needs in clinical, school, and home settings. She transitioned from covering clinician to full-time occupational therapist for the inpatient behavioral health units at Pennsylvania Hospital in spring of 2021. Since then, she led the development of several quality improvement projects, including an annual urban sensory garden and The Weekend-Evenings Program to expand the offering of unit group sessions. She also leads Project Prevention, which integrates The Zones of Regulation curriculum into adult inpatient mental health to support unit safety and communication, for which she and her team received the Josie King Hero Award in 2024. She also offers her time as a fieldwork instructor for level I and level II occupational therapy students and collaborates with medical, social work, and nursing students in their learning experiences.\
Felicia served as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer for Temple University and a guest lecturer for the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She joined the Gwynedd Mercy University team in the summer of 2025, designing and leading the course Community & Mental Health Across the Lifespan with Dr. MacRone-Wojton. She also joined the mission trip to Kenya in summer of 2026 to offer education and support in mental health topics.
Felicia currently serves as a Co-Chairperson for the Mental Health Special Interest Section (MHSIS) with The Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA). She is also pursuing her Occupational Therapy Doctorate and Master of Business Administration at Moravian University.
