Six Programs Cited With Top Team GPAs By Atlantic East Conference
Out of the 20 sponsored sports in the Atlantic East Conference, Gwynedd Mercy University had six at the top or tied for the best GPA in those respective sports. The AEC honored those squads in their Atlantic East Team Academic Award winners announced on Thursday, June 24.
The Griffin Field Hockey, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Women's Track & Field, Men's Lacrosse as well as the Baseball program who tied with Marywood all were cited for their team academic achievements this season.
The Team Academic Award is awarded to the institution's team that had the top GPA in its respective sport. Due to COVID, all spring semester GPAs were used.

- Winter Season Teams (WBB, MBB, WSWIM, MSWIM)
- Spring Season Teams (MLAX, WLAX, BB, SB, MGOLF, WGOLF, MT&F, WT&F, MTEN, WTEN)
The Field Hockey, Women's Lacrosse, and Men's Lacrosse all earned the honor for the third year in a row, while Men's Soccer and Baseball took the honor for the second-straight year.
