Respiratory Care Instructor Receives Clinical Practitioner of the Year Award

Respiratory Care Instructor Melissa Ash, BS, RRT-ACCS, RRT-NPS, RRT-SDS, RRT-CPFT, RRT-AE-C, recently received the 2023 Clinical Practitioner of the Year Award by the Pennsylvania Society for Respiratory Care (PSRC).

Nominees for the award must display contributions to respiratory care that relates to patient care, to education, and to research and improvement. They must also provide mentorship and support to future researchers and contribute to their personal and professional development and/or the field of respiratory care.

“It is an honor and a privilege to be named the Pennsylvania Society for Respiratory Care 2023 Clinical Practitioner of the Year. For me, winning this award reflects my passion for respiratory care. It has strengthened my commitment to the profession, my students, and my patients,” shared Instructor Ash.

Ash has also notably earned every specialty credential offered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
