From its very beginning in 1948, Gwynedd Mercy University remains true to Catherine McAuley’s advice. As much as our faculty and students strive to be good today: their collective goals are focused upon being better tomorrow. In the autumn each year, we greet a new class of incoming students. In the spring, we graduate our seniors, having improved their potential for launching important careers or making their marks in graduate school. Our Distinctive Mercy Graduates are prepared to serve society and lead meaningful lives. After all, being better tomorrow is the very reason for pursuing higher education.
As alumni, friends and colleagues, we continue to provide the necessary financial support for students to make their journeys toward a better tomorrow. I am asking you to join with me in continuing that tradition as we set a three-year initiative to raise $5 million to support students and campus life.
Please make a pledge today. Our students are counting on you to help.
Good Today…Better Tomorrow Fundraising Initiative
Good Today…Better Tomorrow is a fundraising initiative running from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2017 to support student and campus life. Gwynedd Mercy University produces graduates who go on to create lives and careers with deep meaning. The University’s alumni are teachers, serving the youth in the Tri-State Region. They are nurses and allied health professionals, improving the health of our families and friends. They are business professionals, making connections and contributing to a flowing economy. They are social workers, police officers, scientists, helpers, protectors and researchers. Though their career paths are different, all Gwynedd Mercy University alumni share an education rooted in Mercy, an emphasis on moral and ethical values. The Good Today…Better Tomorrow initiative will continue this tradition of producing distinguished Mercy graduates.
