Speech-Language Pathology Community Outreach Partnerships

Living GMercyU's mission of service by taking the clinic to the community

Graduate students in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MSSLP) program at GMercyU offer complimentary speech and language services at various community placements under the supervision of licensed and certified GMercyU SLP faculty. This hands-on experience allows students to actively participate in evaluations and intervention, including conducting comprehensive assessments and providing individualized therapy. Throughout the process, students receive mentorship and constructive feedback, helping them develop their clinical skills.

These services are provided at no cost to the community partner, ensuring accessible support for those in need.
