Deborah E. Schadler, PhD, CPCRT, PRSE has been a professional educator for more than 47 years and has taught at GMercyU for 25 years. She is the Chair of Undergraduate Education, an Assistant Professor, and the Director of the Autism Institute.
During her tenure at GMercyU, Dr. Schadler has been involved in many activities of governance and service, in addition to program and course development.
Dr. Schadler’s other activities at the University include serving as the Faculty Liaison to the Student Success Center and membership on several academic committees, task forces, as well as student organization facilitator for Best Buddies and the Special Education Club.
She has developed and taught the undergraduate special education curriculum. Prior to coming to GMercyU, Dr. Schadler served in the clinical and educational sectors.
