Ann Marie (Annie) Welsh is a Professor of Practice in the Frances M. Maguire School of Nursing and Health Professions. Professor Welsh has worked for Gwynedd Mercy University since 2010 and became a full time faculty member in September of 2019.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Temple University and master’s degree from Drexel University. Welsh is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Education in Teaching and Learning Program at GMercyU.
Professor Welsh is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society for Nursing, and is involved in many other committees in the School of Nursing. Her previous experience includes staff nurse as a pediatric nurse at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children and CHOP. She served in leadership and educational roles as a staff nurse and worked as an adjunct clinical instructor for multiple institutions for many years.
