GMercyU Professor Rebecca Gullan Featured in WHYY Article
GMercyU's Psychology Program Coordinator and Professor, Rebecca Gullan, PhD was featured in a WHYY article entitled "School lessons that Zoom can't teach."
The article is from a recent episode of WHYY's "The Pulse" which is a weekly health and science podcast. Dr. Gullan, who is also a researcher who studies emerging adulthood, discussed how not having face-to-face schooling can have a substantial impact on developing children.
"In the beginning, nobody was talking about kids missing anything besides the academics," said Dr. Gullan in the article. "We were not really thinking about these kids that might really be losing a lot of skills that take time to develop."
