Creating a Culture of Compassion: Sisters of Mercy and the Critical Concerns

University Hall, W105
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

The Sisters of Mercy were founded out of a deep concern for the needs of persons who are poor. Today, these needs are being focused on through five key areas entitled the Critical Concerns. We will look at these five concerns through the lens of Nonviolence as a way to focus and enhance our work in the field of justice.

Sister Dale Jarvis, RSM will share with us how some of those needs are addressed, especially in Haiti.

This event is just one of the many festivities during Mercy Week!
