About the Scholarship
The Wissahickon Gwynedd Mercy University Opportunity Scholarship is a full scholarship that’s awarded to one Wissahickon High School student who has expressed a desire to enter the teaching profession and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Education at GMercyU. The student will be selected by the District, and must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and meet GMercyU’s admissions requirements. Preference will be given to a student from an underrepresented population based on The District’s commitment to diversifying its teaching staff to better mirror its student body.
This scholarship is funded, in part, by a generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous.
