Gwynedd Mercy University Associate Professor and Criminal Justice Program Coordinator Patrick McGrain, PhD recently spoke with 6ABC on the recent spike in violence across the country, particularly Philadelphia.

"Crime rate goes up when unemployment rates go up. The crime rate goes up when we have a higher level of frustration among Americans. The crime rate goes up when we have uncertainty," Dr. McGrain said.
