Exciting News! GMercyU recently launched its new Digital Communications program. Building off of GMercyU's strong foundation in communications, this new program will serve as the perfect launching pad for a career in writing, social media, broadcasting, or public relations for communication majors.

The GMercyU Difference 

Gwynedd Mercy University's Digital Communications degree will combine hands-on training and classroom instruction to provide you with the skills every employer is looking for. 

Digital Revolution. This new program will prepare you to be an effective communicator in today's digitized world by combining theory with practical writing, speaking, and marketing skills. Jobs using these digital communication skills are expected to increase by 38% from 2018-2026 with the average salary of $72,000 (Bureau Labor of Statistics).

Social Butterfly. Social media has become an integral part of companies' business strategy. You will learn how to develop, implement and evaluate social media strategies needed in all industries.

Real-World Experience. GMercyU's campus is situated in the middle of one of the top media markets in the country. You will have the opportunity to take the skills you learn in the classroom and intern for major companies in the Philadelphia, New York City and perhaps even Washington, D.C. areas.

Master Communicator. You even have the option of earning both your bachelor’s degree in Digital Communications AND your master’s in business administration if you choose to pursue GMercyU’s 4+1 MBA program.   BONUS:  If you go this route, you will complete 12 graduate-level credits in your senior year as part of your undergraduate tuition.

Undergraduate Minors 

Increase the value of your degree as a digital communication major by adding an undergraduate minor. Along with being a top communication school, GMercyU offers a wide variety of minors so you can choose the one that best meets your personal and professional goals.

Credit Requirements

A minimum of 125 credits is required for the Bachelor’s of Science in Digital Communications degree.
