As a part of the university name change and updated branding strategy, the email domain name changed from gmc.edu to gmercyu.edu. The transition period for this change will end on July 1, 2014, when gmc.edu will no longer redirect to gmercyu.edu. This means that any email still addressed to gmc.edu will NO LONGER FORWARD, as it is doing automatically now, and that groups and contact lists will no longer be accessible or usable!

IT Services Department will be performing maintenance on network infrastructure on Friday, May 2, 2014. This work is needed to update network firewalls against Internet Explorer known security vulnerabilities. Access to Internet at all campuses will be unavailable during this 30 minutes window.

On April 7th, 2014 a security issue, commonly referred to as “Heartbleed”, was discovered in a software library used by many major Internet companies. Heartbleed affects the encryption technology designed to protect online accounts for email, instant messaging and e-commerce.
