You are here

With more than 15,000 members and growing, the Gwynedd-Mercy College Alumni Association's strongest asset is its people. As such, members are invited to take an active part in the various alumni efforts by volunteering their time and talents in a number of ways.

For more information on how you can become involved, call the Office of Alumni Relations at 215-641-5554, or e-mail alumni@gmc.edu .

Class Agents:

Class agents are alumni volunteers for the Office of Institutional Advancement who work as the lead fundraising liaisons between the University and their classmates. Personal contacts from class agents are vital in bonding alumni together and with the extended College family. These connections are key to the success of the Annual Fund and the Alumni Association.

Career Mentors:

Network with other professionals and mentor recent graduates interested in your field by becoming a career mentor. Sharing your professional experiences can be a fun way to bond with alumni of all ages and stages in their career.

Alumni Ambassadors for Admissions:

Participants in the Admissions Alumni Ambassador program include alumni who wish to assist the Admissions Office with recruiting new students. Ambassadors may attend college fairs in their home towns, correspond with prospective students, and participate in admissions events held on campus.

Event Planners and Assistants:

Throughout the year, alumni gather at Homecoming, concert events, cocktail parties and reunions. Assisting with the planning and execution of such events is a great way to recconect with the University community.

Young Alumni Connection:

More than 60% of the alumni population is under the age of 40. This group is designed to bring together young (and young at heart) members of the Alumni Association for events, programming and other efforts throughout the year.
