Undergraduate Degree Programs
Gwynedd Mercy University offers more than forty undergraduate academic programs that prepare students to lead in professions of increasing demand and societal importance. Most majors include professional experience in the program. Many businesses offer internships or co-op employment experiences during college and a career after you graduate.
All undergraduate programs are taught by experienced faculty members who provide personal attention to students. The undergraduate degree programs are ideal for both first-time college students and new transfer students. Through the First Year Experience program, new college students will gain skills to manage academic requirements, engage with the University community, explore career options, and develop a deeper sense of social responsibility. Transfer students benefit from flexible course transfer.
Gwynedd Mercy University offers additional academic experiences to Undergraduate students. One of the best ways to learn outside the classroom is to venture outside the country. Students have studied abroad in England, Ireland, Greece, Italy, and Spain. Qualified undergraduate students may also enroll in our Honors program. Comprised of six interdisciplinary and team taught courses in Liberal Studies, the program focuses on the theme of "The Quest for Community and Freedom: The Individual and Society."
In U.S.News & World Report’s 2013 edition of “Best Colleges,” Gwynedd Mercy University ranked in the first tier of its category, which is largely attributed to its high graduation and retention rates.
