Connecting to the Gwynedd Mercy University Network 

From the Residence Halls: Attach computer via Ethernet cable to a network wall jack and turn on computer.

Remote Network Access

Some administrative and faculty staff may be granted remote network access based on need. Secure connections are mandatory. For remote network access contact the IT Service Desk.

Wireless Hotspots

Wireless access is available campus wide. The only exception is the athletic fields. Wireless access is permitted for all Gwynedd Mercy University account holders including students, faculty and staff.

Wireless access for Guests

Wireless access for guests is permitted via Gwynedd Mercy University-Guest.

Telephones / voice mail

Basic telephone connectivity and voice mail set up issues may be submitted via the IT Service Desk.

E-2 Campus Notification System

All students are encouraged to register on the E-2 Campus notification system. This system is used to send messages in the event of an important event that affects public safety or critical information of an urgent nature.

E-mail and Webmail

E-mail accounts are assigned to all students, faculty and staff. E-mail is the official form of communication for Gwynedd-Mercy College. E-mail can be accessed online via school web portal:

Distribution Mailing Lists

Distribution mailing lists are assigned to departments based on need and must be requested and approved by a department head.

Digital Signage

A digital signage information system broadcasts news and important events on campus. Digital signs can be seen in the St. Bernard Hall lobby, Keiss Hall, Waldron Student Center and East Norriton campus.
